The Leo Trem tremolo rack effect module is based on the 1968 EA Tremolo design of Anthony Leo.
Description
In November, 1968 when Anthony Leo published the schematic and details for his circuit in Electronics Australia magazine, the effect became known as the "EA Tremolo". It has been a well-known build in the DIY community for 50 years and is also the basis for some commercially available tremolos. Since it has been out there for so long, numerous improvements and modifications have been made. For the most part, tremolos don't lend themselves well to lots of modifications and options. The LeoTrem module is our tweaked version of Mr. Leo's tremolo. It includes mods to give more range to the controls and adds a Volume control. Yes, a Volume control on an effect that changes the volume. The sound compares to a Fender amp tremolo. We don't offer any options to this circuit. After 50 years of tweaking, it seems to have reached a point where there's not much room for improvement.
