GT isn't usually able to take trade-ins of pedals as partial payment for orders.  It would be nice if that would work out, but generally it won't.  We don't have the time to sell those pedals, which we would have to do.  Our suppliers won't accept used pedals as payments.  Even if we did accept them, we would have to offer you lower-than-market values so we could sell them quickly.  You could get more by selling them yourself.

That applies 99.9999% of the time.  However, we are occasionally looking for specific original pedals.  If you happen to have an unusual pedal that is in great, all-original condition, one that is not widely available online, there is a small chance we may be interested.  Just know upfront that we will probably not give you an offer for it that is equal to what you could get selling it yourself.  Maybe, but very unlikely.  Please do not be offended by "low ball" offers, it is just a business reality for us.  We're not trying to rip you off.  If you want to approach a possible trade-in, just tell us the minimum amount you would accept for the pedal and we'll either take it or leave it, no hard feelings, no negotiation.  Of course, we'll want to check out the pedal first to make sure it would meet our needs, which may not be exactly what you would expect.  We often have some very specific requirements for pedals we use in R&D and testing.

Feel free to check with us, but expect that we will not be able to make a trade-in deal.  If we do, it probably won't be a particularly good deal for you compared to what you could probably get for it elsewhere.
